gimwellvilla: procedure on how to update your hackable psp v5.50GEN-D2 without pandora

requirments:
1. helcat's recovery flasher
2.official sony psp firmware v5.00
3. version 5.50 GEn-D
4. version 5.50 GEn-D2 full patch

first you need to upgrade first your hackable psp (2000 and older) to v5.00-m-33
using helcat's recovery flasher..
ok here's how
1.download helcat's recovery flasher then connect your psp to your pc and extract helcat's to MMC / PSP / GAMES
2. download official sony psp firmware v5.00 then extract to root directory of your MMC

disconnect psp to your pc and go to GAMES then open HELCAT"S RECOVERY

choose i agree and take me to the software

choose install CFW of version set above

choose reset/format setting as well

after the selection or setting your psp is now on flashing mode

wait untill flashing is finish and just simply press any key

power on psp again and check your psp system information

now you have version 5.00 m-33
and now lets proceed to version 5.50 GEN-D
3. download version 5.50 GEN-D (check the download link in above of this thread)
connect psp to your pc then extract version 5.50 GEN-D to root directory of your MMC

now disconnect your psp to your pc and go to games and run quick updater version 5.50 GEN-D
press enter

choose the first option

your psp will go to flash mode again

after flashing press X to reboot

after rebooting check your psp system information

4. last and final step
download version 5.50 GEN-D2
connect your psp again to your pc then extract version 5.50 GEN-D2 to the root directory of your MMC
after extracting go to games and run QUICK UPDATER 5.50GEN-D2

now press X botton to start patching
